Introduction

UHT, short for Ultra-High Temperature Sterilizer,  is a food processing technology that almost sterilizes liquid food by heating it above 135 °C (275 °F) – the temperature required to kill many bacterial endospores – for 5 to 15 seconds. UHT is most commonly used in milk production, but the process is also used for fruit juices, cream, soy milk, yogurt, wine, soups, honey, and stews.

Heat exchanger may be in the form of a plate, a tube, a bellows, or the like. For products with pulp particles or high viscosity, tubular exchangers must be used to prevent clogging. At the same time, the tubular heat exchanger also has a more powerful pressure bearing capacity.

For cloudy beverage or milk based juice, we recommend tubular UHT; for a clear juice, plate UHT can be used.

UHT include buffer tank、pump、tubular heat exchanger、deaerator (optional) etc.
